This 1 day course expert faculty will present cases to attendees, who will have an opportunity to manipulate the data on workstations to understand how to use CT in patients who will be undergoing TAVR to determine the data are essential to the interpretation of the patient scan in preparation to perform TAVI/TAVR procedures. Attendees will learn how to use cardiovascular CT to optimize clinical outcomes in TAVI/TAVR with a focus on annular sizing, device selection, and reduction in complications. An extensive education on measurements including coronary height, peripheral imaging with TAVR, Annular Sizing by CT & Sizing Algorithms, CT Workflow for TAVR utilizing advanced cases will be the primary focus including protocols and Image Reconstruction, Important Ancillary Measurements Beyond the Annulus, CT to guide approach of TAVR.
Attendees will learn how to use cardiovascular CT to optimize clinical outcomes in TAVR with a focus on annular sizing, device selection, and reduction in complications such as coronary occlusion, annular rupture, and vascular access injury. Attendees will also be exposed to the latest in CT imaging for transcatheter valve-in-valve procedures.
